Started working at Giant Food right after graduation. Became a stay at home mom 2 years later. Spent 7 years of my life with someone from the class of 87 (please don't hold it against me, I was young and in love.......LOL) Moved to Georgia in December 1995; best choice for me and the children, sometimes being a single mom is better for everyone! Worked as a Business Office Manager for 4 years before becoming the Senior Finance Clerk for Georgia Military College. I loved working at the college - was the supervisor of Business Office, Financial Aid Office, and Bookstore. I began working on my Associates Degree in 2003 while working full-time and being a single mom. I completed my Associates in Business Management and moved on to my Bachelors in Business Finance: Graduation for Bachelors was February 2008! I moved to North Carolina in August 2006 and began working as a Community Support Worker for at-risk male youth. Continued working for the same company as a Community Support Worker and a Residential Care Specialist in Group Homes with adolescent boys with behavioral problems. Later I received a job offer to work with Adults with mental illnesses seeking to return to work - this was such a rewarding job until the state budget cuts ended the venture!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the sense of accomplishment the individuals express when they receive their first paycheck - for some it has been the first in over 10 years!!!!!! I know work with adults with mental illness in a group home setting and sometimes teaching recovery skills at the psychosocial program in the area. I have just started my own online sales business working with many companies such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Finish Line and Kohls. I am looking for independent distributors or just those that want to make a little money off sales.

I have recently married a wonderful loving man who is my dream come true...

My son is my athlete: varsity football, varsity basketball, and varsity track. He is also the assistant coach of my 8 year old nephew's basketball team. He has set goals for his education, but still has his teenage tendencies! LOL!

My daughter has creative talent: drawing, poetry. She also has a talent for running, but does not want to do it anymore. She has run track in middle school and even placed 2nd for women from GA / 20th overall in a 5K at Disney World when she was 14 years old. She only trained for one month and that month was two months prior the race. My daughter has had her 1st child (my 1st grandchild) Zha'Keim was born in December 2010.

School Story:

Tormenting Mrs. Pannel during 9th grade English! All involved will go unnamed (if they don't want the fame....LOL) Our class was the worst - ketchup in the pencil sharpener, "Special" Brownies, turning our desks from one direction to another each time she went into the office in the middle of the pod, what else did we do - you name it we did it!!!!!!!!!
