Leslie was an outstanding friend and fun person. She was intelligent, beautiful, and gregarious. She stood by you through thick and thin. I am glad that she was a part of my life in Dale City because I would not be who I am today without those experiences; good and bad. I wish that I had been a better friend and kept up with her. She is remembered, loved, and missed.

I knew Leslie since middle school. But the one thing about Leslie that stands out in my mind was Senior Year in Speech and Drama class. Mrs. Martin asked us to bring a small token that would describe ourselves. Leslie brought in something on her keychain (for the life of me I can't remember what) that was a symbol of her sobriety. I had no idea she had issues with addiction, but I was in awe of her honesty and vulnerablility. In years after G-F when as an adult I messed up on things, Leslie was a positive example that you can pick yourself up and live a positive, productive life. I never got the opportunity to tell Leslie how proud I am of her, so now I look forward to telling her in Heaven. Thank you, Leslie. You are missed.
