I was shocked and also sad to find out that we lost such a good friend. I knew Derek since Saunders Days and he was always one to make people laugh and have a good time.I understand that he passed away from Leukemia, but just not sure when.

I remember Derek Cheeks very well. I have often thought about him over the years. Derek was such a cute guy that I use to joke with alot. To be honest, I had a crush on him and he never knew it. He had such a wonderful smile. I always felt that Derek seemed to be way beyond his years. To his family, may God continue to bless you as the years goes by.Blessings,
